More costly than those statsitics are the broken hearts left in the wake of divorce and family breakdown.
The need to strengthen Florida families and marriages is immediate. Marriage & Family Works, Inc. is a non-profit education and training center that seeks to undo the devastating effects of family and marital breakdown. We are dedicated to strengthening marriages and families through education, collaboration and mobilization and by providing modern answers to age-old problems for business, church, and civic groups. We seek to assist, train and equip faith-based, secular, and governmental organizations develop programs, strategies, and initiatives to strengthen marriages and families, with emphasis on marriage, family, and fatherhood. Our heartbeat is to help communities strengthen marriages and families.
We seek to accomplish this through five strategic areas:
- Community Mobilization: partnering with other local organizations who are strengthening families
- Faith-based involvement in strengthening marriages and families: partnering with churches
- Public Awareness through the media: Spreading the positive messages about marriage
- Relationship Wellness trainings for business: Employees with a healthy marriage are more productive
- Marital services: Marriage Enrichment Weekends and Workshops
