Marriage & Family Works is a non-profit organization.  There are many ways that you can help support this organization.

Here are a few ways that YOU can help:

VOLUNTEER
We would not exist without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. Here are some ways that YOU can help Marriage & Family Works to "build strong families":

1. Serve on our "Barn Dinner & Dance" Committee:  this event is crucial to the funding of Marriage & Family Works.  The event date is October 2010.  Committee's are forming NOW to work on Marketing; seeking items for the Silent Auction; planning the meal and decorations for the event.  If you would like to join a committee, please call or email Sandy James at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2. Host our Booth at Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival-takes place in October.  You will work a 1-day shift while having fun!


3. Perform Services at our beautiful Facility:
Planting/maintaining flower beds & pots
Data Entry on Computer
Pick up an order at Sam's Club for one of our Marriage Weekends (pick up needed on Sept. 30, 2010).
Light cleaning and tidy up

4.  Become a trained Marriage Coach  (Call 941-920-9200)

5.  Become a mentor for engaged couples (Call Sandy James 941-827-0500)

6.  Donate Items.  We are always in need of the following items:
Food for our Marriage Seminars
5-gallon bottles of water for our cooler
Printer paper (white)
New, white 3-ring binders
Goody bag items for teen girls in our Get Free class


7.  Donate Funds:  Marriage & Family Works is a non-profit organization and seeks to be good stewards.  There are a few ways you can help provide financial support for Marriage & Family Works, while also turning on the fun!

BRING A MARRIAGE WORKSHOP TO YOUR CHURCH:
Marriages are facing tremendous stress and strain today.  Strengthen the marriages and families in your church bry bringing in our Marriage Coaches to conduct a 1-day Marriage Workshop in your church!  There is no cost to your church, as we only ask for a Love Offering from those in attendance. RENT OUR AUDITORIUM/RECEPTION ROOM:
Our one-story building (next to main building) is a beautful reception/seminar room, perfect for Seminars, Retreats, Workshops, Church Meetings, Company Parties, Birthday Parties or smaller weddings.  The main room seats approximately 80 people in chairs or 40 people at round tables comfortably.  The room costs $100 per hour to rent, and non-profits rent for half price.  Kitchenette includes only refrigerator, freezer and microwave.  Reservations must be made in advance by calling Sandy James at (941) 827-0500.  (photo below)

RENT OUR CONFERENCE ROOM OR A CLASSROOM:

RENT THE BEAUTIFUL "CHARITY LIMOUSINE":
Another practical way that you can help support Marriage & Family Works is to rent the Charity Limousine, in Bradenton, FL.  Because of their generosity, Charity Limousine will give 100% of your payment directly to Marriage & Family Works!  The cost to you is only $60 per hour, plus a tip for the volunteer driver.So you can have a classy night on the town in the beautiful, white Charity Limousine, and support Marriage & Family works at the same time!  To reserve the Limousine, please call Sheri at 941-746-5493.


LUNCH & LEARN
Increase productivity in your workplace with Relationship Education!  Our Realtionship Experts will conduct a Lunch & Learn at your workplace teaching skills for better communication among employees, conflict resolution, and emotional support for one another.  Strengthen your team!  For pricing and details, please call Sandy James at 941-827-0500.
